A solid carbon steel wire, intended for single-pass welding and some multi-pass applications. Because of added deoxidants, Exocor 70S-2 can be used for welding steels that have a rusty or dirty surface, with the possible sacrifice of weld quality depending on the condition of the surface. Exocor 70S-2 is used extensively to produce high quality, high toughness welds with the GTAW process.
