CROMOCORD KV5HR is a basic coated 1,25%Cr ½%Mo electrode suitable for welding creep resistant steels like 13CrMo4-5, 13CrMoSi5-5, SA387 Gr11 and Gr12 Cl1 and Cl2, SA 182 F11, SA 335 Gr P11 and Gr P12, and similar. The weld metal chemistry is very low in impurity elements which allows to guarantee Xbar<12ppm and J<150ppm, largely insensitive to in-service embrittlement complying with step cooling screening test requirement.

1. Excellent tensile strength at high temperature, approved up to +570°C.
2. Very low diffusible hydrogen (HD<4ml/100g).
3. Excellent operability in all position welding except downhill.
