This Powerweld 308L bare stainless steel MIG wire is used for TIG and MIG welding of unstabilized steels such as types 301, 302, 304, 305, and 308. The average carbon content of 0.03% produces a weld deposit with good resistance against intergranular corrosion caused by carbide precipitation. It has a diameter of 0.030 inch. Available in a two-pound spool.
